Business Law

Gordon & Associates provides counsel to its businesses clients as to all aspects of their legal existence, functions and responsibilities. Having been an owner and investor in many businesses, Mr. Gordon's advice extends to being more of a consultant rather than strictly being a legal counselor. This has proven to be an invaluable combination for many of the firm’s clients.

Counsel is provided as to business planning and the proper business format to accomplish the client’s objectives. Related to this is the formation of various types of business entities, many of which operate on a nationwide or international basis. Franchising and licensing arrangements are also utilized when appropriate. Extensive attention is also given to the negotiation and drafting of the multiple types of business agreements that apply to these organizations.

The firm also has long standing experience in the acquisition and sale of businesses, particularly related to the real estate services industry, including negotiation and resolution of the issues that arise after these transactions close.

Although the firm is not actively litigating cases at this time, pre-litigation counseling is requested by many clients and litigation management services are often requested for complex cases.
